2. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges only under the following specific conditions:

  • Timeframe:‌ You must initiate a return or exchange request within ‌30 calendar days‌ from the date of delivery.
  • Condition:‌ The item(s) must be ‌unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition‌. All tags, labels, and protective covers (if any) must be intact. Tools must show no signs of wear, soil, damage, or assembly.
  • Proof of Purchase:‌ You must provide the original order number and/or a valid receipt.
  • Non-Returnable Items:
    • Items that have been used, washed, planted with, or show any signs of wear and tear (e.g., a mini trowel with soil residue, pruners with plant sap).
    • Items that are damaged due to customer misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow the included care instructions.
    • Custom-made, personalized, or clearance/final sale items (these will be clearly marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase).
    • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts for reasons not attributable to us.

Damaged or Defective Items:‌ If you receive an item that is ‌damaged during shipping‌ or is ‌defective upon arrival‌ (e.g., a tool with a manufacturing flaw such as a bent pruner blade that makes it non-functional), please contact us immediately within ‌48 hours‌ of delivery at nyxide@sarldelta.com. Provide your order number and clear photographic or video evidence of the damage or defect. We will arrange for a return at our cost and, upon verification, offer a ‌replacement‌ or ‌refund‌. ‌A simple change of mind does not qualify for a free return label for defective claims.

3. The Return Process (Step-by-Step)

Returns are not automatic. You must follow this process precisely:

  1. Initiate a Request:‌ Within 30 days of delivery, contact our France-based customer service team via email at nyxide@sarldelta.com or call +33 4 6639 2855 during business hours. Provide your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Receive Authorization:‌ Our team will review your request. If your request meets our eligibility criteria, we will issue a ‌Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number‌ and provide the correct return shipping address in France. ‌Returns sent without an RMA number or to the wrong address will not be accepted and may be returned to you at your cost or disposed of.
  3. Pack and Ship:‌ Securely pack the item(s) in their original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. Include a copy of your order confirmation or the RMA slip (provided by us) inside the package. Clearly write the issued ‌RMA number on the outside of the box‌. You are responsible for the ‌cost and risk of return shipping‌ unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item sent). We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
  4. Inspection and Processing:‌ Once we receive your return package at our facility (1525 Route de Bagnols), our team will personally inspect the item(s), as we do with every tool before listing. This inspection is to ensure they meet the “unused and resalable” condition stated in Section 2. ‌This process typically takes 3-7 business days after arrival.

4. Refund and Exchange Options

After your return passes inspection:

A. Refunds:

  • Method:‌ Refunds will be issued to the ‌original payment method‌ used during the purchase.
  • Timing:‌ Please allow up to ‌10 business days‌ after we approve your return for the refund to be processed and appear in your account. The timing depends on your bank or payment provider.
  • Amount:‌ The refund amount will be for the ‌product price(s) only‌. Original shipping and handling fees are ‌non-refundable‌, except in cases where the return is due to our error. Return shipping fees paid by you are also not refundable.

B. Exchanges:

  • If you wish to exchange for a different product (e.g., swap a mini trowel for a seed dibber), please indicate this when initiating your request. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
  • If the desired item is available, we will ship it to you after receiving and approving your return. Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.
  • If the desired item is out of stock, we will issue a refund as described above.

C. Store Credit:

  • We may, at our discretion, offer store credit as an alternative, which will be issued as a unique code via email.

Key Reiteration: A refund without a physical return is strictly prohibited. There is no scenario where you may keep the item and receive a refund.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel an order ‌only if‌ it has not yet been processed for shipping. Once an order status changes to “Shipped” or “Processing,” cancellation is no longer possible, and the standard return policy applies. 6. Non-Returnable Situations

Refunds or exchanges will be denied, and the item may be sent back to you at your expense, in the following cases:

  • Items returned without an RMA number.
  • Returns due to customer’s change of mind where the item is not in as-new, resalable condition.

7. European Union and French Consumer Law

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under French and European Union consumer protection laws. As a consumer, you have a legal guarantee of conformity which entitles you to repair, replacement, or price reduction/refund if the goods you purchased are ‌faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose‌.
